Underfloor Insulation

Underfloor insulation makes a massive difference to drafty high set Queenslander homes and the like. 

We offer under-floor area insulation. We cut and install around all the plumbing, where required, and hold the insulation in place with a building wrap while screwing it in place.

Wall Insulation

Wall insulation both exterior and interior should be installed during the building stage and is not done as a retro install. Insulation: What is R Value?

R-Value is a measure of resistance to heat flow through the given thickness of material.

As a standard, we use R 4.1. If you are building a new home, the builders add up the roof material, plaster board and anything else they can to get to meet the building regulations. It is important to have insulation installed under the tin or tiles as the first point of temperature penetration. It is also important to have insulation at the ceiling level to further isolate the temperature entering or leaving the living space. Having the ceiling insulated properly will save you thousands of dollars on heating and cooling energy in your home.
